Dear Family,

This week seemed like it was slow until we got to the end and looked at what we had accomplished and it was a very good week.  I have mentioned the Gundersons before but I want to share more about them.  So the family is Gary the dad, Fawn, the mom, Monica the 13 year old daughter, and Gary jr who is 18 months.  We found them as we were tracting one day and they were taking a walk with their family so we talked with them and they invited us to their home and they live right across the street from a member.  We taught them the first time out on the lawn because it was a super sunny day, it was a little hectic because Monica had a few of her friends over and they were not listening and kind of causing some problems but they were super interested and liked what we were saying so they invited us back again.  The next time we came over it was Monica who was the most interested and had already been reading the book of Mormon.  Since then they have soaked everything in and have loved it.  We have another appointment with them tomorrow night that Bro Smith their neighbor is coming to the lesson and we are going to invite them to be baptized sometime in may.  I am very excited to seem them all baptized before I leave.  They are also best friends with another lady that we are teaching named Charolette so it works out perfect.

We have also been doing this new thing instead of tracting and just knocking on doors and inviting people to hear more, we are praying with them on the doorsteps and invoking the blessings of heaven on them and their home.  Its not a priesthood blessing but just as representatives of Jesus Christ.  It has been providing miracle after miracle for us over the past few weeks and we are really excited about the whole thing.  I will share more of the miracles next week after we have a few more and about how it went with the Gundersons. I am doing by best to stay focused and work hard until the end.  Encouragement in that aspect would be nice from everyone.  It will keep me from thinking about home all the time.  I love you all.

Love,
Elder Erickson
